Sustainable carpentry and building services

Garden rooms, and more, made with care, sustainably.

A novel, planet first approach to building

‘Square peg’ is used to refer to people who act or thinks differently to most people. That’s us. We’re rethinking how construction can be done - rather than throwing up structures with little thought for the impact they have on the planet, we put those considerations at the top of the list. This means we make beautiful, functional, sustable garden rooms and furniture.

Garden rooms, cabins and furniture in the South West

Following a self guided apprenticeship which saw me working on a range of natural and conventional carpentry and building projects across the UK and France, I set up ‘Square Peg’ as a platform from which to offer sustainable small buildings, cabins and furniture.
